our privacy and cookie statement in brief
In our processing, we adhere to the requirements of privacy legislation. Among other things, this means that:
- we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do this through this privacy statement;
- we limit our collection of personal data to only those personal data that are necessary for legitimate purposes;
- we first ask you for your explicit consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;
- we take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and require the same from parties processing personal data on our behalf;
- we respect your right to access, correct or delete your personal data at your request.
for what purposes do we use your personal data?
contact and customer service
When you send us an e-mail or letter or contact us in any other way, we may use your name, address and contact details and submitted messages to answer your request or question (agreement). We will keep your data until we think you are completely satisfied.
your order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to handle it properly (agreement). To do this, we use your name, address details, e-mail address and order number. We send this information to PostNL, which then delivers the desired products to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company, which we pass on to our payment partners (iDeal, PayPal, MasterCard, Visa and AfterPay). We save your invoice data within the framework of the fiscal retention obligation, even if it is in your account and you cancel your account (see the heading below for more information). If you subscribe to our newsletter when placing an order, you will receive it until you unsubscribe.
your account
An account allows you to checkout faster, to see and manage your personal data and to track your orders. To do this, we use your name, email address and password. We will keep your account until you delete it, with the exception of your billing details (see above).
reviews
When you have ordered something from us, you will receive an e-mail via TrustPilot within 8 days inviting you to leave a review about our service. This will help other customers make their choice based on the quality and size of the product. Your name, profile picture, number of reviews and the review itself will be kept until you withdraw your consent for publication or earlier, if the publication is no longer relevant. If you do not want to leave a review, simply ignore this e-mail.
newsletter
If you want to stay informed about new developments, special products and offers, you can subscribe to our newsletter. To do so, we register your e-mail address. We only send the newsletter with your permission. Each newsletter also contains an unsubscribe link that allows you to unsubscribe again.
job application
Have you responded to one of our vacancies or submitted an unsolicited application? If so, we process your personal data to be able to process your application and to prepare for the possible conclusion of an employment contract. For this purpose, we use your salutation, name, contact and address details. In addition, we may process your date and country of birth, CV, motivation letter, salary indication, availability and possible references.
We will retain your application data until after the position has been filled. We keep these data until we can contact you in case the position becomes available again within the probationary period. If we are unable to offer you a position at this time, we may - with your consent - keep the application data for an additional year. You can withdraw your consent at any time by sending us an e-mail. Are you coming to work for us? Then we will save your application data in your personnel file. This file is kept for as long as necessary and, with regard to application data, for up to two years after commencement of employment.
